Overview
The DJ-6-B Pulse Holiday Detector is a high voltage instrument of the KODIN brand. It is designed to be professional, stable and reliable, and is specially used to detect metal anti-corrosion coating mass. The instrument can mass detect coatings such as glass-lined, frp, epoxy coal asphalt and rubber lining of different thicknesses. When the anti-corrosion layer appears pinholing, bubbles, cracks or crazing, the instrument will emit bright sparks and accompanied by sound and light alarms. Powered by nickel-metal hydride batteries, it is small in size and light in weight, making it especially suitable for field operations.
Features
1. High voltage output, stepless continuous adjustable (0.6KV~ 30KV);
2. Wide detection thickness range (0.05~ 10mm, can provide more than 10mm detection according to user request);
3. Powered by nickel-metal hydride battery, small size, light weight, easy to carry;
4. With sound and light alarm function, including dual alarm of earphones and buzzer;
5. Automatic shutdown design, the background light is turned on instantaneously, and the power is automatically cut off;
6. Low power consumption, power consumption of about 5W;
7. The weight of the host is light (2.2kg), and the total weight of the box is 6kg.
Principle
Holiday Detector by applying a certain amount of pulsed high voltage to the surface of the conductive substrate anticorrosive layer, when the anticorrosive layer is too thin, metal leakage or air leakage pinholing, the pulsed high voltage will form an air gap breakdown, spark discharge is generated, and sends a pulse signal to the alarm circuit, triggering the alarm sound and light alarm, thereby realizing the detection of the mass of the anticorrosive layer.
Applications
Chemical, petroleum, rubber, enamel industries
Steps
1. Turn on the power of the instrument, and the background light starts instantaneously;
2. Adjust the output high voltage as needed (0.6KV~ 30KV stepless continuous adjustable);
3. Probe the instrument to the surface of the anti-corrosion layer to be tested;
4. Observe whether there are sparks and sound and light alarms;
5. After the test is completed, the instrument will automatically power off and shut down.
Notice
- The instrument is a high voltage device, and attention should be paid to safety during operation to avoid electric shock;
Make sure the battery is fully charged and avoid using it under low battery conditions.
- Keep the surface of the anti-corrosion layer dry and clean during testing to improve the detection accuracy;
When working in the field, pay attention to moisture-proof and anti-drop equipment.
Regularly check the function of the instrument to ensure that the alarm system is functioning properly.
