The HM-600 digital Black and white densitometer is a high precision transmission density measuring instrument introduced by KODIN. The instrument is controlled by a microcomputer and has the characteristics of small size, light weight, easy portability, easy operation, high Precision and good Stability. It can measure the transmission density value within 4.5D. It is an ideal tool for analyzing the mass of X-ray films.

Principle
The HM-600 digital black and white transmission Density Meter is used to measure the amount of light transmitted through transparent materials (such as soft chip substrates) to determine the amount of light absorbed by their surfaces. The instrument is mainly composed of an illumination system, a light acquisition and measurement system, and a signal processing system. It provides a stable Illuminant through an AC modulated Illuminant. The photoelectric Sensor receives the amount of light transmitted through the tested negative and converts it into an electrical signal. After signal processing, it is sent to the microcontroller, and finally the measured density value is displayed on the LED display.

Steps
Step 1 Power on.
2. Press the zero correction button to adjust the zero.
3. Place the tested sample for formal testing.

Measurement range: D = 0.00~ 4.50. Measured values greater than 4.5D are for reference only.
• The diameter of the optical hole in the measurement area is φ 2mm.
• Note the repeatability error of the instrument and the measurement error range in different density intervals.
