Overview
The QT-I paint film Drying time Recorder is a professional instrument under the PUSHEN brand for measuring the drying time of surface coatings such as paints and coatings to ensure their surface mass. The instrument is driven by a High Accuracy stepper motor and tested under specific loads and speeds.
Features
1. Equipped with High Accuracy Stepper Motor to ensure smooth and accurate operation.
2. Using spherical contact point stroke rod, working under 12g standard load.
3. Standard circular trajectories with a diameter of 50mm can be drawn.
4. Provide six adjustable track periods: 0.5, 1, 2, 6, 12, 24 hours.
5. Cover the track through the drying time chart to intuitively obtain the drying time of the paint film.
6. Compact structure, light weight of the whole machine, easy to operate and place.
Principle
When the instrument is working, the High Accuracy stepper motor drives the scribe with spherical contact points, and draws a 50mm diameter circular track on the surface of the paint film at a certain speed under a load of 12g. After the test, according to the specific location where the track disappears, the matching drying time chart is used for coverage comparison, so as to accurately obtain the drying time of the paint film. The core calculation is based on the physical formula "distance = speed × time".
Applications
Determination of paints coating drying time
Steps
1. Place the instrument smoothly on the paint film sample to be tested.
2. According to the test requirements, select the required track period (0.5, 1, 2, 6, 12 or 24 hours) through the instrument panel.
3. Start the instrument, and the stepper motor will drive the stroke bar to start working, marking a circular track on the surface of the paint film.
4. After the test cycle is completed, remove the instrument.
5. Observe the disappearance of the paint film surface track.
6. Use a dedicated drying time chart to cover the test track, and determine the actual drying time of the paint film by comparison.
Notice
Before use, please ensure that the power supply voltage of the instrument is within the suitable range of 100-240V AC 50/60Hz.
• When placing the instrument, it is necessary to ensure that the surface of the paint film to be tested is flat to ensure uniform load and track standards of the stroke rod.
• When selecting the track cycle gear, it is necessary to choose reasonably according to the estimated drying time of the paint film to obtain the best test effect.
• Do not move or touch the instrument during the test, so as not to affect the track accuracy.
• When reading the results, use the drying time chart for coverage comparison accurately in a good ray of light environment.
• The instrument should be properly kept after use to avoid bumping precision components such as strokes.
• When cleaning the instrument, please use a drying soft fabric to avoid the use of corrosion cleaners.
