Overview
The PUSHEN PS 2705 Automatic Cupping tester is a specialized instrument for detecting the spread and damage of single and multi-coating coatings on metal substrates.
Features

Principle
The instrument drives the punch through the motor to make the steel ball top the test plate at a constant speed until the first crazing occurs on the coating surface. High Accuracy Position Sensor measurement and display the cupping depth value at this time to evaluate the ductility of the coating.

Steps
1. Insert the test plate into the opening of the instrument, with the coating facing up.
2. Use a clamping device to clamp the test plate with moderate force.
3. Start the cupping device and observe the surface of the test plate through the magnifying glass.
4. The instrument automatically tops the steel ball at a constant speed of 0.2mm/s.
5. Immediately stop cupping when the first crazing is observed.
6. Read the cupping depth value from the digital display.
7. Perform at least three tests on a test plate.
Notice
* When operating, carefully observe the coating surface through magnifying glass, and stop immediately when the first crazing occurs.
* Multiple tests should be performed on the same test board to ensure the reliability of the results.
* Film thickness should not exceed 1.25mm.
