Overview
The PUSHEN putty flexibility tester (model RTG) is manufactured according to GB/T 1748 and is used to evaluate the ability of the putty film to deform with the substrate without damage under specified conditions. By bending the sample and observing whether the putty film is crazing or peeling, the minimum diameter of the curved arc is expressed in mm flexibility.
Features
1. Manufactured according to GB/T 1748 standard to ensure test accuracy
2. Adopt pressure frame and formwork design, easy to operate
3. Suitable for determination of flexibility of thick paint putty
4. The shaft rod is available in a variety of sizes, covering diameters of 50mm and 100mm.
5. Test plate substrate is tinplate, thickness 0.2-0 mm, meet the standard requirements
Principle
The putty flexibility tester inserts the sample into a small groove at the back end of the template, presses one end of the sample with an eccentric shaft with a pressing handle, and then removes the pressing frame. The rolling shaft on the pressing frame makes the sample plate uniformly bend and deform along the surface of the template. Observe whether the surface of the putty film of the sample plate is crazing or peeling, and indicate flexibility with the minimum diameter of the curved arc in millimeters.
Applications
Determination of flexibility of thick paint putty
Steps
1. Place the pressing roller handle and pressing rack at the back end of the template to fully expose the template
2. Insert the sample into the small groove at the back end of the template and press the eccentric shaft against one end of the sample with a pressing handle
3. Move the press down and bend the sample evenly along the surface of the template through the rolling shaft on the press
4. Move the pressing frame to the location, and finally observe the physical changes on the surface of the putty film of the sample
Notice
• Make sure the instrument is in good condition and not damaged before use
• When inserting the sample, align it with the small slot to avoid offset
• Bending deformation needs to be carried out evenly to prevent sudden force
• Be careful when observing changes in putty film to avoid missing crazing or peeling
• Clean the instrument after operation and keep it drying
