Overview
Putty applicator is designed and manufactured according to the coating and scraping method in GB1727-89 "General Preparative Method of Lacquer Film". This product is suitable for preparing putty film and thick paint film uniformly on various substrates (tinplate, steel plate, Aluminum Panel) for measuring the general performance of the film.

Principle
After fixing the standard film frame with a pressing plate on the baseplate, use a drawdown blade to press and scrape hard from top to bottom to form a uniform putty film thickness under the thickness of the film plate. The standard film plate of the putty sprayer has three different thicknesses (1 +/- 0.05, 0.7 +/- 0.035, 0.5 +/- 0.03) mm According to the product standard requirements, the putty thickness can be selected and combined. Due to the different solid compositions in the Coating, when the wet-film becomes Dry-Film, the dry-film thickness formed is also different, so this should be fully considered when choosing to use the standard thickness film frame.

Steps

Notice
• Due to the different solid compositions in Coating, when wet-film becomes Dry-Film, the dry-film thickness formed is also different. This should be fully considered when choosing to use a standard thickness film frame
• Select the appropriate film thickness according to the product standard requirements
• When using, make sure that the pressing plate is firmly fixed to the membrane frame
