Overview
The QFZ-II film adhesion tester is the PUSHEN brand Benchtop manual instrument for measuring the fastness of the film to the substrate gluing, that is, adhesion. The degree of film adhesion to the substrate is assessed by the film integrity in the scratch range of the circular roller line, and expressed in grades.
Features
1. Manual operation, simple and reliable structure.
2. Adjustable drawing diameter, range 0-10.5 mm.
3. The effective area of the workbench is large, measuring 50mm by 100mm.
4. Equipped with multiple weights for easy application of different pressures.
5. Travel table effective not less than 80 mm, adapt to a variety of sample size.
Principle
The instrument drives the table to move left and right through the hand wheel drive, and the needle is rounded on the sample to form a spiral pattern. According to the integrity of the paint film in the pattern, check seven parts in turn, and evaluate the adhesion grade with more than 70% intact as the standard, from first level (best) to seventh level (worst).
Steps
1. Prepare the sample as required.
2. Check and replace the steel needle, the needle tip is about 3 mm away from the work surface.
3. Adjust the eccentric position of the tip to the desired depicted diameter and tighten the screws.
4. Install the sample plate face up on the workbench and press it with a pressure plate.
5. Add the specified weight to the weight plate.
6. Lift the movable half nut to move the worktable to the outer end and then lower it.
7. Flip the lever to bring the tip into contact with the membrane surface.
8. Shake the handwheel to make the steel needle draw a spiral pattern.
9. Take out the sample, remove the scratched paint film with a paint brush, check the scratch with four times magnifying glass and grade, and the result is subject to the same level of at least two samples.
Notice
• When starting to use, it is recommended to replace the steel needle with a new one to ensure accuracy.
• After adjusting the drawing diameter, the screws must be tightened to prevent loosening.
• When installing the sample, the coating surface should be facing up and pressed tightly to avoid movement.
• The weight addition and release shall be carried out according to the specified requirements.
• Use four times magnifying glass when checking for scratches, and use more than 70% intact as the evaluation standard.
• The result judgment requires at least two samples to be at the same level.
