The instrument utilizes a high-diffuse coating integrating sphere and a variety of standard Available Light Sources (D65, D50, C, F11, etc.), at a CIE 2 °/10 ° viewing angle, through chroma space (L * a * b, L * c * h, Yxy, RGB) and Color difference formula (Delta E * ab, Delta E * ch) for accurate color analysis and comparison.
