Overview
JINGKELIAN NDJ-1 rotational viscometer is a Rotational Viscometer with a pointer display measurement value. It is suitable for the viscosity measurement of various fluids such as grease, paints, plastics, food, Adhesive, etc. Its Measurement range is 10~ 100000mPa · s, and the measurement error is +/- 5%. The instrument is equipped with 4 rotors and 4 rotational speeds, which can be combined into 16 measurement conditions to adapt to the measurement needs of different viscosity ranges.
Features
1. The lifting system adopts the helical rack/helical gear mode, which is convenient to move up and down, easy and will not slip, effectively overcoming the shortcomings of the straight rack/gear mode.
2. A universal joint is added at the interface connecting the rotor, which can effectively reduce the test error caused by the different centers of the shaft and the rotor, and protect the shaft tip from impact damage.
3. The transmission gear is made of high wear-resistant and high-performance engineering plastics, which ensures High Accuracy and smooth operation, and avoids the problems of shaking, shaking, pointer beating and noise caused by metal gears.
Principle
The NDJ-1 rotational viscometer drives the rotor to swirl/spin at a constant speed in the liquid to be measured by a motor. The rotor swirl/spin is subjected to a viscous resistance of the liquid, which is proportional to the viscosity of the liquid. The instrument measures this resistance moment and converts it into a viscosity value, which is finally displayed on the dial through the hands.
Applications
Grease, paints, plastics, food, Adhesives
Steps
1. According to the estimated liquid viscosity, choose the appropriate rotor and speed combination.
2. Install the selected rotor and immerse it in the liquid to be tested to the specified scale line.
3. Turn on the power supply, start the instrument, and make the rotor swirl/spin at a constant speed in the liquid.
4. After the pointer is stable, read the viscosity value displayed on the dial.
5. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power, remove the rotor and clean it.
Notice
Make sure the instrument is level before use.
• Select the appropriate rotor and speed according to the approximate viscosity range of the measured liquid to ensure that the reading is within 20% to 90% of the range and improve Measurement accuracy.
• The depth of the rotor immersion in the liquid must reach the specified marking line.
• During measurement, ensure that the rotor swirls/spins stably in the liquid without bubble adhesion.
• The axis tip and rotor connection of the instrument are relatively precise, so care should be taken during operation to avoid collisions.
• After the measurement is completed, the rotor and protective frame should be cleaned in time to prevent the sample from drying.
• The instrument should be used in a normal temperature environment to avoid high temperature, humidity and strong magnetic field interference.
• When not in use for a long time, it should be kept properly.
