The NDJ-8S series swirl/spin digital display Viscometer is controlled by a single chip microcomputer. It is an intelligent viscosity detection instrument with data collection, processing and display functions. The instrument controls the stepper motor to run accurately and smoothly according to the set speed, and drives the rotor to rotate through the hairspring. When the rotor is not subject to liquid resistance, the rotor swirl/spin synchronously with the motor; when the rotor is subject to the measured liquid resistance, its swirl/spin will lag behind the motor. When the tension and liquid resistance of the hairspring reach equilibrate, the rotor lags behind the opening angle of the motor and is fixed. By measuring the opening angle, the microcontroller calculates the viscosity of the measured liquid according to the set rotational speed and rotor number, and displays it on the LCD screen.
