JZ-60G glossmeter is a Portable mirror gloss measurement instrument produced by KINGWELL brand. The instrument is one of the smallest and most portable models in China, and its performance indicators meet the requirements of national JJG696-2002 (mirror glossmeter Measurement verification regulations). It is suitable for gloss measurement of paints, coatings, inks, plastics, Stone, paper, tiles, enamels, metals, platings and other products.

Principle
The glossmeter works on the principle of mirror reflection. The instrument projects a beam of light onto the sample surface at a 60 ° incident angle and measures the intensity of the reflected light at the mirror angle of reflection (also 60 °). By comparing the intensity of the reflected light on the sample surface with the intensity of the reflected light on the standard plate, after internal calculation processing, the final gloss value is obtained in Gloss units (GU).

Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power supply.
2. Align the instrument measurement port and stick to the surface of the sample to be tested.
3. Press the measurement button for measurement.
4. Read and record the gloss value displayed on the display screen.
Notice
• Please ensure that the instrument is fully charged before use.
• When measuring, the measurement port of the instrument should be flat and tightly fitted to the surface of the sample to avoid light leakage affecting the measurement results.
• The instrument standard board is made of quartz crystal and needs to be properly kept to avoid scratches and contamination.
• Please use Ambient Temperature 0 ℃~ 40 ℃, relative humidity does not exceed 85%.
• When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
