Overview
JINGKELIAN QGZ-A Drying time Recorder allows Basis Weight monitoring of different stages of coating drying and curing, resulting in good reproducibility. It makes it easier to monitor the various stages of coating drying and curing, and defines the stages according to chemical and physical principles for satisfactory evaluation.
Features
1. Number of strokes: 6 strokes, multi-point test can be carried out at the same time
2. Travel: 305mm, covering a large test range
3. Sample size: 316 * 24 * 3mm, suitable for standard samples
4. Track period: 6/12/24 h, providing a variety of test time options
5. Track: linear track, automatic continuous display of drying process
6. measurement error : +/- 4%, high accuracy
7. Motor Power: 220V 50HZ, Standard Power Configuration
Principle
The drying process is divided into four stages: the first stage is the pear-shaped visual impression, which is equivalent to the time required for solvent evaporation; the second stage is the continuous cutting, which is equivalent to the sol-gel transition; the third stage is the interruption of the track, which is equivalent to the surface drying time; the fourth stage is that the needle no longer penetrates the film, which is equivalent to the final drying time.
Applications
Determination of drying time of paint film, putty film, Paints, varnish and other Coating drying process monitoring
Steps
1. Prepare the sample, the size is 316 * 24 * 3mm
2. Place the sample on the tester
3. Set the track period (6/12/24 h optional)
4. Start the instrument and the scribe starts to draw a straight trajectory
5. Observe the track change during the drying process and record the time of each stage
6. Analyze the time taken at each stage of the drying process
