Overview
The Basis Weight Sampler is a special specimen prepative device from the LABO brand for accurately cutting standard area (100cm ²) specimens of materials such as Tobacco flakes, paper, Cardboard, etc. for subsequent weighing and calculation of their unit area weight (Grammage, g/m ²).
Features
1. Adopt stamping sampling method to ensure high sampling accuracy.
2. The sampling edge has no burrs, and the sample mass is good.
Principle
The Sampler precisely cuts a circular or Cube sample with a specified area (100cm ²) from the material to be tested by mechanical stamping. After the cut sample is weighed, the weight per square meter of the material can be converted according to its area, that is, Basis Weight or Grammage.

Steps
1. Place the material to be tested flat on the Sampler table.
2. Adjust and locate the sampling area.
3. Operate Sampler to press and cut a standard area sample.
4. Remove the cut sample.
5. Use Balance to accurately weigh the specimen.
6. Calculate the Grammage (g/m ²) of the material according to the weight and area of the sample (100cm ²).
Notice
• Please ensure that the equipment is firmly installed before use.
• Please pay attention to safety when operating and avoid placing your hands under the stamping area.
• The sampling Film thickness must be within the allowable range of the equipment (0.1~ 1.0mm).
• Regular maintenance to ensure sampling accuracy.
Do not overload or exceed the range of this equipment.
