Overview
LABO LB-MCY05 Friction coefficient meter is used for the measurement of Plastic film and sheet, rubber, paper, Cardboard, woven bag, fabric style, metal composite belt for communication cable and optical cable, conveyor belt, wood, coating, brake pads, wipers, shoe materials, tires and other materials Static COF and Kinetic COF when sliding. By measuring the smoothness of the material, the material production mass process index can be controlled and adjusted to meet the requirements of product use. In addition, it can also be used for the measurement of the smoothness performance of daily chemical products such as cosmetics and eye drops.

Principle
The instrument calculates the Static COF and Kinetic COF respectively by measuring the friction of the material during the sliding process. The differential stepper motor is used to drive the slider to move on the surface of the sample, and the friction value is accurately measured by the force measurement system. The microcomputer system automatically calculates and displays the Coefficient of Friction result.

Steps
1. Connect the AC220V 50Hz power supply
2. Place the sample on a 170 * 225mm work surface
3. Select the appropriate slider (standard is 200 +/- 2g, optional 500/1000g)
4. Start the device, the slider moves at 100 +/- 10mm/min
5. View real-time test data through the LCD Chinese display screen
6. The instrument automatically displays Kinetic COF and Static COF
7. After the test is completed, the device automatically saves the data

• Check whether the slider mass meets the test requirements before use
• Keep the test table and slider clean to avoid affecting the Test accuracy
Periodically calibrate equipment to ensure Indication Error is within +/- 1%
