Overview
The LABO LB-R1000 softness tester is a special instrument for the measurement of the softness of crepe paper, tissue paper and its derivatives, medical gauze and other materials. Under the specified test conditions, the sample is pressed into the slot-die at a certain depth through the plate-shaped measurement head, and the softness value of the sum of the bending force and friction force of the sample is measured. The smaller the value means the softer the sample.
Features
High Accuracy Force Sensor to Ensure Test Precision Error Within +/- 1%
2. Stepper motor control, accurate and stable probe travel process, Repeatability of measurement results
3. LCD Chinese display, friendly man-machine interface operation, fully automatic test completion
4. Automatic memory and display of test results, printer printing, reducing human error
5. Built-in calibrating program, easy to calibrate Measurement calibrating department
6. The instrument is equipped with a special calibrating device for softness
Principle
When the plate-shaped measurement head is pressed into the sample slot-die a certain depth, the measurement of the maximum vector of the bending force of the sample itself and the frictional force at the slit, the value is the softness, expressed in milliNewtons.
Applications
Crepe paper, tissue paper and its derivatives, medical gauze, materials requiring soft performance
Standards
GB/T8942、T498SU、YC/T16
Steps
1. Evenly cut standard samples from samples with sampling equipment
2. Adjust the slot-die width according to the product standard, check the width error and parallelism
3. Place the specimen on the instrument test bench, symmetrical to the slot-die
4. Multilayer paper should be stacked up and down
5. Turn on the instrument test, and the plate-shaped measurement head starts to press down
6. Read the measurement result after the test is completed
7. Measure 10 longitudinal and horizontal data respectively
Notice
• Whether it is an embossed or unembossed specimen, the delamination should be uncovered and then overlapped for testing
• For samples with high softness, a sample bending width test of less than 100mm can be selected
• The measurement results should be converted according to the proportional relationship and indicated in the test report
