The PUSHEN SZQ-600um Single Sided Film Applicator is made of hard stainless steel and is suitable for scraping film layers of specified thickness and width on a flat and solid substrate. The Applicator has High Accuracy fixed film thickness to ensure uniform, comparable and precise thickness control of coating samples. It is widely used in laboratory testing in the fields of Coatings, varnishes, paints, inks, glues and cosmetics.

Principle
Single-sided Film Applicator uses its fixed thickness drawdown blade structure to form a wet-film layer of specific thickness and width on the surface of the substrate by scraping on a flat and solid substrate. This mechanical scraping method ensures the conformity and accuracy of the film thickness, providing standardized samples for subsequent performance tests such as Color and hiding power.
