Overview
The YOKE VIS-722N visible spectrophotometer is an economical analytical instrument with a wavelength range of 320~ 1020nm and high accuracy. It is widely used in many fields such as testing, food, petrochemical industry, environment protection and monitoring. The instrument is equipped with an optional RS232 interface, which can realize the function of connecting printers and computers.
Features
1. Numbers show measurement indications.
2. Automatic zero and automatic hundred.
3. The large sample chamber can accommodate 5-100mm Cuvettes.
4. Optional output port RS232 can be used to connect printers and computers.
5. Adopt original imported tungsten lamps to ensure the lifespan of the instrument.
6. The instrument uses reliable microcomputer processing technology and is easy to operate.
7, automatic light gate, to ensure the service life of the photoelectric Sensor, instrument testing is simpler.
Principle
The YOKE VIS-722N visible spectrophotometer is based on the principle of selective absorption of light by substances (Lambert-Beer's law) for quantitative analysis. The instrument uses a color difference canceling Czerny-Turner Optical inspection system (1200L/mm grating). The composite light emitted by the Illuminant becomes monochromatic light after the spectroscopic system. After the monochromatic light passes through the sample solution, it is partially absorbed by the sample. The remaining light is received by the photoelectric Sensor and converted into an electrical signal. It is processed by the microcomputer system, and finally the measurement results are displayed in the form of transmittance (T), Absorbance (A) or concentration (C).
Applications
Testing, food, petrochemical industry, environment protection and monitoring
Steps
1. Turn it on and warm up.
2. Select the desired measurement mode (A/T/C/F) through the [MODE] key.
3. Put the reference solution (such as a blank solution) into the sample chamber, close the sample chamber cover, and press the [?/100%] key to adjust 100% T (or 0.000ABS).
4. Put the sample to be tested into the sample chamber, close the sample chamber cover, and read the measurement value on the display screen.
5. In C or F mode, you can enter the F value as needed or use the standard solution to calculate the F value for concentration measurement.
6. If you need to print or transfer data, you can press the [PC] key (corresponding interface needs to be selected).
Notice
The instrument should be placed on a stable, vibration-free workbench protected from direct sunlight.
* After starting the machine, it needs to be preheated for a certain period of time, and the measurement will be carried out after the instrument is stable.
* Cuvette light-transmitting surface should be kept clean and should not be touched directly by hand.
When replacing the sample, ensure that the sample chamber cover is closed to avoid the influence of stray light.
* Absorbance values may exceed the linear range when measuring high concentration samples and should be diluted for measurement.
When the instrument is not in use for a long time, it should be turned on regularly.
When performing zero (0% T) and 100 (100% T) operations, ensure that the correct reference solution is placed in the sample chamber and the light path is clear.
* The wavelength adjustment is manual drive, and after switching the wavelength, the zero adjustment and 100 adjustment operations need to be re-performed.
