Overview
Leneta Form 2A Opacity Chart is a hot-selling sealed Opacity Chart of the American Leneta brand. It measures 140 x 254mm and adopts a black and white half design with top black and bottom white. The product is widely used in Coatings, Rubber & plastics, paints, pigments, Hardware, Instrument, printing, Encasement, Gloss oil, biology and other industries to test the hiding power of paints and other Coatings.
Features
1. Black and white half design, easy to hide power comparison test
2. Dimensional standard, in line with D4941 application standard
3. Encasement size is 250 sheets/box, easy to use in batches
4. Suitable for seals, paints/inks, etc
5. The material is uniform and the test results are reliable
6. Applicator rod and other accessories can be used
7. Provide objective hiding power measurement
Principle
The hiding power test is based on the principle of black and white contrast, by measuring the coating covering ability of Spreader on black and white areas. The hiding ratio is calculated as: hiding ratio (%) = Y black/Y white * 100%, where 100% means complete covering, that is, there is no difference between black and white areas after filming.
Applications
Coatings, Rubber & plastics, paints, pigments, Hardware, Instruments, printing, Encasement, Gloss oils, Bio
Steps
1. Spreader paints and other coatings evenly on the test paper according to the film steps
2. Wait for the film to be fully dried
3. Use the instrument for objective evaluation, hiding power values are automatically displayed
Notice
• Spreader should ensure that the film thickness is appropriate, flat and uniform
• Spray booth space should be suitable, Illumination conditions should be good
• The paints need to be mixed effectively
• Prohibit excessive polishing of the paint film
• Coating temperature should be adjusted to 23 ° C before testing
• Spreader speed should be kept uniform
• The drying process needs to be kept level
