Overview
SNB-2 digital Viscometer is a precision measuring instrument under the FANGRUI brand. It adopts microcomputer drive technology, imported stepper motor and LCD backlight display, with program setting and automatic control functions. The instrument can directly display viscosity, speed, rotor number, percentage torque and liquid temperature, and perform standard correction through PC interface to ensure High Sensitivity, High Accuracy and High Repeability, Accurate and Reliable Data.

9. Standard data processing software can record the viscosity change with time, speed, rotor or temperature in real time, which is convenient for analyzing the rheological characteristics of non-Newtonian liquids.
Principle
The SNB-2 digital Viscometer works on the principle of swirl/spin viscosity measurement. The instrument drives the selected rotor to swirl/spin at a uniform speed in the sample. The viscosity value of the sample is directly calculated and displayed by the measurement of the Tack resistance torque to the rotor and processed by the microcomputer system. Its High Accuracy Stepper Motor and Automatic Control Technology ensure smooth speed and accurate measurement.

Steps
1. Choose the appropriate rotor and speed according to the estimated viscosity.
2. Install the selected rotor.
3. Place the sample in the measurement vessel, ensuring that the rotor is immersed at the specified mark.
4. Turn on the instrument and set the measurement parameters (such as speed).
5. Start the measurement and wait for the reading to stabilize.
6. Read data such as viscosity, speed, torque percentage and temperature directly from the LCD screen.
7. After the measurement is completed, clean the rotor and measurement container.
Notice
• When testing low viscosity samples less than 10mPa · s, a special low viscosity adapter (No. 0 rotor) needs to be purchased.
• Ensure that the rotor is firmly installed and the sample is properly immersed to the specified depth.
• Before measurement, ensure that the sample temperature is uniform and stable. If accurate temperature control is required, a thermostatic option can be selected.
• After use, the rotor and measurement parts should be cleaned in time to prevent the sample residue from affecting the subsequent measurement accuracy.
• Please follow the instructions for regular maintenance and calibrating of the instrument.
