Overview
DV-1 digital rotational viscometer is a precision measuring instrument using microcomputer drive technology and imported stepper motor. It has LCD backlight display, program setting and automatic control functions, can directly display viscosity, speed, torque, rotor number and liquid temperature information, measurement data is accurate and reliable, excellent repeability.

Principle
The instrument controls a stepper motor through a microcomputer processor to drive the rotor to swirl/spin in the liquid to be measured at a set speed. Tack resistance (torque) to the rotor is accurately measured, and the instrument automatically calculates and directly displays the viscosity value of the liquid according to the built-in program.

Steps
1. Install the host and connect the power supply.
2. Select the appropriate rotor according to the estimated viscosity and install it on the instrument.
3. Immerse the rotor in the liquid to be tested to the specified mark.
4. Turn on the power supply and set the measurement parameters (such as speed) through the instrument panel.
5. Start the measurement, the instrument automatically runs and stabilizes, and reads the viscosity value directly from the LCD screen.
6. After the measurement is completed, turn off the power and clean the rotor.
Notice
Please read the instructions carefully before use.
• Ensure that the instrument is used in a smooth, vibration-free environment.
• Choose the appropriate rotor and speed combination according to the approximate viscosity range of the measured liquid.
• The rotor must be immersed in the liquid to the specified depth and must not touch the walls and bottom of the container.
The liquid temperature should be kept stable during the measurement process to obtain accurate results.
• After use, the rotor should be cleaned thoroughly in time to prevent the sample residue from affecting the subsequent measurement accuracy or damaging the rotor.
• When the instrument has an alarm prompt, please check and troubleshoot according to the prompt information.
• When not in use for a long time, please take good care of the main engine and rotor.
