Overview
RVDV-1 digital rotational viscometer is a professional measuring instrument of FANGRUI brand. It adopts microcomputer drive technology and imported stepper motor, and has LCD backlight display, program setting and automatic control functions. The instrument has stable speed, good accuracy and easy operation. It can directly display information such as viscosity, speed, shear stress, shear rate, percentile torque, rotor number and liquid temperature, and carry out full-scale correction through PC interface to ensure high Sensitivity, High Accuracy and High repeability. Its performance reaches the professional level of similar domestic instruments.

Principle
The digital rotational viscometer controls the imported stepper motor through microcomputer drive technology to drive the rotor to swirl/spin in the liquid. The instrument measures the resistance (torque) of the rotor, and directly converts the rheological parameters such as viscosity, shear stress, and shear rate of the liquid through the internal calculation program according to the set speed and rotor geometric parameters. The results are displayed on the LCD screen in real time.

Steps
1. According to the estimated viscosity of the sample, select the appropriate rotor through the "Rotor/Rate" button.
2. Select the appropriate speed through the "RPM/Stress" button.
3. If you need to select parameters for an unknown sample, you can use the "Auto Scan" function.
4. Determine the measurement mode through the "Mode Select" button.
5. Immerse the rotor in the sample to the specified mark and press the "Start" button to start the measurement.
6. During the measurement process, the screen displays various data in real time.
7. After the measurement is completed, press the "Stop" button to terminate the program, or wait for the program to end automatically.
8. Use the "OK" key to confirm and record the current measurement information.
Notice
• Before use, make sure that the instrument has been fully calibrated by standard silicone oil to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Select the appropriate rotor and rotational speed combination according to the sample viscosity range for the best measurement effect.
• Ensure that the depth of the rotor immersion in the liquid meets the specified requirements during measurement.
• The instrument has an error alarm function. In case of abnormal prompts, please check the operation steps or sample status.
• Optional accessories such as thermostatic cycle bath, temperature probe to achieve accurate measurement under temperature control.
• Please use the provided standard interfaces (R232C communication interface, temperature Probe interface) to connect external devices.
• Power frequency range of the instrument is 110~ 230V 50Hz/60Hz, please make sure the power supply matches.
