The MT600 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge performs film thickness measurement based on the principle of ultrasonic pulse reflection. When the ultrasonic pulse emitted by the Probe reaches the inside of the material under test through the coupling agent, reflection occurs on the bottom surface of the material, and the Probe receives the echo. The instrument precisely measures the time for ultrasonic waves to propagate in the material and calculates the film thickness of the material according to the known speed of sound. Its unique echo-echo pattern can identify and separate the echo reflection from the interface between the coating and the substrate and the bottom surface of the substrate, thereby excluding the coating thickness during measurement, enabling accurate measurement of penetrating coatings.

Apply a coupling agent to the tested surface to smoothly couple the Probe to the measurement point. 5. Read and record measurement results, the instrument supports three viewing modes of single point, maximum value and difference. 6. You can connect the printer to print the results wirelessly through Bluetooth, or export the data to the computer through the USB interface for subsequent processing.
