The MUT660C ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD) instrument works based on the principle of ultrasonic flaw detection (UFD). The instrument emits ultrasonic pulses to the inspected workpiece through Probe. When ultrasonic waves propagate inside the workpiece and encounter defects (such as crazing, pores, etc.) or interfaces, reflection occurs. The instrument receives these reflection echoes and processes and analyzes them. The fully digitalized processing system is able to calculate and display parameters such as the location (such as depth, horizontal distance, sound path), size (evaluated by amplitude, dB equivalent value or flat bottom hole equivalent value) of the defect in real time. Combined with the built-in DAC/AVG Linear dispersion, weld diagram and other functions, assist the operator in locating, Basis Weight and qualitative judgment of defects, so as to realize the nondestructive detection and evaluation of internal defects of the workpiece.

Start scanning: couple the Probe to the surface of the workpiece for inspection, and observe the real-time waveform and parameter display. 7. Defect analysis: The instrument displays the defect location, equivalent value and other information in real time, and can use functions such as waveform freezing, door widening, and echo coding to assist analysis. For weld inspection, weld shape parameters can be visually displayed. 8. Data export: Data is exported to the computer through the USB interface for further processing or report generation.
