IPRE PRCT110 Coating thickness gauge is a magnetic Induction and eddy Current dual principle Portable measuring instrument, nondestructive measurement of magnetic metal substrate on the nonmagnetic coating and nonconductive metal substrate film thickness, widely used in metal processing, chemical industry, Eletroplating, lame plating and other industrial fields.

Principle
The instrument works based on the principle of magnetic Induction and eddy Current. For nonmagnetic coatings (e.g. paints, zinc) on magnetic metal substrates (e.g. steel, iron), magnetic measurement is used; for nonconductive coatings (e.g. paints, plastics) on nonmagnetic metal substrates (e.g. copper, aluminum), eddy Current measurement is used. The instrument can automatically identify the substrate and select the corresponding measurement mode.

Steps
1. According to the tested substrate, the instrument will automatically identify and select the magnetic method or the eddy Current method.
2. Select single measurement or continuous measurement mode.
3. Place the probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement.
4. Read the measurement Film thickness value and real-time statistical information displayed on the LCD screen.
Notice
• Ensure that the tested surface is clean and flat before measurement.
• The probe should be perpendicular to the measured surface during measurement.
• Pay attention to the minimum measurement surface, minimum radius of curvature and thinnest substrate requirements of the instrument.
• Please use it under environment conditions of 0~ 40 ℃ and 20~ 90% RH.
• When measuring different substrates or overlays, the instrument will automatically switch methods without manual adjustment.
