Overview
The PRUT310 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a Portable measurement device from the IPRE brand for thickness measurement of metals (e.g. steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, etc.), plastics, ceramics, Glass and Miscellaneous ultrasonic conductors. It uses the ultrasonic principle to provide High Accuracy measurement and is widely used in industrial monitoring and quality control.

Principle
The PRUT310 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is based on the principle that ultrasound travels through a material at a constant speed. The material thickness is determined by emitting ultrasound and receiving the retracted wave, calculating the time difference, and is suitable for corrosion monitoring of various plates, machined parts, and pipes and Pressure Vessels.

Steps
1. Probe zero point calibrating or two point calibrating to correct errors
2. Optional known thickness backmeasure Speed of sound to improve accuracy
3. Set the upper and lower thickness limits
4. Use LED backlight to operate in dim environments
5. Communicate with PC via wireless Bluetooth or USB interface
6. Adjust the liquid crystal luminance and contrast ratio as needed
Notice
Ensure that the measurement material is a good conductor of ultrasound, such as metal, plastic, ceramic or Glass
• Set parameters accurately during calibrating to avoid measurement errors
• Use LED backlight function in low-ray of light environment
• Regularly check the battery level and use 3 1.5V batteries for power supply
• Avoid use in extreme environment conditions to prevent affecting accuracy
