ANDE ZAHN Zahn Cup is a portable Zahn viscosity cup with a long handle, specially designed for viscosity measurement of Coating paints, etc. The cup body volume is 44ml, the pore diameter is 1.93mm, and the viscosity measurement range is 5~ 60cst. It is suitable for on-site use in the workshop. The measurement is simple and fast.

Principle
The Zahn Cup indirectly measures the viscosity by measuring the time it takes for the liquid to flow out of a specific pore size from the cup body. When used, the liquid flows out of the 44ml volume cup body through the 1.93mm pore size, and the corresponding viscosity value is between 5 and 60cst depending on the outflow time in the range of 35 to 80 seconds.

Steps
Step 1 Prepare the liquid to be tested
2. Fill the Zahn Cup with liquid
3. Lift the Zahn Cup and start timing the liquid outflow process
4. Record the time required for the complete outflow of the liquid
5. Determine the viscosity value according to the outflow time and the viscosity range

• Make sure the cup and filter are clean to avoid clogging
• Check whether the aperture is in good condition before use
