Principle
Coating Specific Gravity Cup calculates density by measuring the mass of the sample in a container of known volume. First, the mass of the empty cup is measured, and then the mass after filling the distillation water or sample is measured. The density value of the sample at the test temperature is obtained using the density calculation formula p1 = (m2-m0)/V, where m2 is the Specific Gravity Cup and the sample mass, m0 is the empty Specific Gravity Cup mass, and V is the volume of the Specific Gravity Cup.

Steps
1. Clean the Specific Gravity Cup with a solvent that does not leave residue after evaporation and dry it
2. Weigh the Specific Gravity Cup (with cover) at room temperature, the difference between the two weighing data must not be greater than 0.5mg
3. Fill the distillation water with no more than 1 ° C below the test temperature and place it under thermostatic conditions until the temperature is constant
