Overview
SHIBO QSG Iron-Cobalt Colorimeter is a special equipment for the determination of clear oils, varnishes and thinner Color according to GB/T1722 standard. It determines the Color grade of the product by comparing the sample with the standard color level solution.

Principle
The sample to be tested is placed in a clean format tube, and under the specified temperature (23 +/- 1 ℃), it is visually compared with the standard color scale solution of Iron-Cobalt Colorimeter under the transmitted light of the black box. Color grade of the sample is directly indicated by the number of the standard color scale by selecting the standard color level closest to the sample Color.

Steps
1. Load the sample into a clean drying format tube.
2. Under the test Ambient Temperature of 23 +/- 1 ℃, observe under the transmitted light of the dark box.
3. Compare the specimen with the standard color scale of the Iron-Cobalt Colorimeter.
4. Choose the two closest to the sample Color, or a standard color scale that is the same as the sample Color.
5. Color grades of specimens are directly indicated by the number of the selected standard color scale.
Notice
• If the sample is turbid due to low temperature during the test, it can be heated in a water bath of 50-55 ° C for 5 minutes, then chilled down to 23 +/- 1 ° C and kept for 5 minutes before measurement.
• Iron-Cobalt Colorimeters should be calibrated every three years.
• After the sample is tested, the testtube should be cleaned and set aside.
• Iron and Cobalt Colorimeters should be properly stored to prevent light exposure.
• The product is shipped without wooden frames.
