Overview
The QZM-1 Conical Mill is a SHIBO brand grinding equipment designed for the paints paint industry. The equipment can grind paints particles with an initial particle size of about 100 microns to a particle size of no more than 25 microns in no more than 5 times, effectively improving the Fineness and quality of the paint.
Features
1. The ground clearance can be finely adjusted, and the range can be adjusted arbitrarily between 0.01 mm and 1 mm.
2. The convex mill adopts clockwise swirl/spin, and the speed is stable at 180 rpm.
3. Equipped with thermal insulation or cooling devices, the concave grinding temperature can be controlled through water circulation to adapt to different process requirements.
4. The structural design is easy to maintain, and the concave mill can be easily disassembled for cleaning.
5. Adopt worm gear variable speed transmission for smooth operation.
Principle
When the equipment is working, the motor drives the convex mill swirl/spin clockwise through the worm gear in the transmission. The gap between the convex mill and the concave mill is adjusted in advance, and the paints to be ground are poured into the concave mill. The swirl/spin convex mill and the stationary concave mill produce relative movement, and the paint particles are cut and ground. The ground paint is scraped to the outflow of the paint plate for collection. The concave mill can be temperature-controlled by circulating water to maintain a suitable grinding temperature.

Steps
1. Before grinding, adjust the two grinding surfaces of the convex grinding to the contact state, and then pour the paints to be ground into the concave grinding.
2. Turn on the power switch and start the motor. The motor drives the convex mill through the transmission to swirl/spin clockwise at a speed of 180 rpm to start grinding.
3. After grinding, the paint is scraped onto the lacquer plate and flows out along the plate, which can be placed in the glass plate.
4. Gap adjustment: adjust the nut clockwise swirl/spin, the convex mill moves up, the gap becomes smaller; counterclockwise swirl/spin, the gap becomes larger.
5. Temperature control operation: The circulating water can be connected through the water nozzle to keep the concave mill warm or cool down.
6. Concave grinding loading and unloading: Release the knob to remove the concave grinding for cleaning.
Notice
• After long-term use, in order to ensure the grinding accuracy, it is necessary to regularly adjust the gap between the convex and concave grinding by adjusting the nut.
• Use 3 #calcium-based grease lubrication in the transmission, and the oil level should be 1/3 of the height of the worm. It is recommended to replenish the lubricating oil every three months to ensure good lubrication.
• The equipment must be cleaned in time after use. After cleaning, wipe the convex and concave grinding with soft fine cotton yarn, and ensure that there is no debris residue between the two grinding to prevent scratching the contact surface and affecting the instrument accuracy.
