Overview
FANGRUI BZY-202 surface tensiometer is a high-performance weighing Sensor using the principle of electromagnetic force equilibrating, with accurate measurement and excellent repeability. The instrument is a platinum ring test mode, which combines the characteristics of manual operation of the lifting platform and high cost performance. The main structure and technical parameters are similar to the QBZY series automatic surface/interfacial tension instrument.

Principle
The FANGRUI BZY-202 surface tensiometer uses a high-performance weighing Sensor based on the principle of electromagnetic force equilibrating for measurement. In the platinum ring test mode, the instrument obtains the surface or interfacial tension value of the liquid by measuring the maximum force (peak value) required for the platinum ring to be pulled off from the liquid surface, and then through calculation or software conversion.
Applications
It is suitable for the field where the measurement of liquid surface tension or interfacial tension of dismixed liquids (such as oil/water) is required.
Steps
1. Prepare the sample and place it on the sample platform.
2. Manually operate the lifting platform to make the platinum ring contact or immerse in the liquid.
3. The instrument automatically makes measurements and maintains the peak value.
4. Automatically convert peak data to surface/interfacial tension value through Excel calculation or supporting data processing software.
Notice
This model is in platinum ring test mode.
The lifting platform is operated manually.
* When testing platinum ring method, the measurement results need to be calculated or converted by software.
* The measurement time varies depending on the sample concentration, and the platinum ring method for low concentration samples takes 40 to 60 seconds.
* If thermostatic test is required, Thermostat and thermostatic pool should be purchased separately.
* Instrument is equipped with Draft Shield to reduce the impact of ambient air flow on measurement.
