Overview
FANGRUI BZY-203 surface tensiometer is a high-performance weighing Sensor using the principle of electromagnetic force equilibrating, with accurate measurement and excellent repeability. The instrument uses both platinum plate method and platinum ring method. Except for the manual operation of the lifting platform, the other functions are the same as the QBZY series automatic surface/interfacial tension instrument, which has high cost performance.

Principle
The FANGRUI BZY-203 surface tensiometer uses a high-performance weighing Sensor based on the principle of electromagnetic force equilibrating for measurement. By contacting the liquid surface with a platinum plate or platinum ring, the Sensor accurately detects the force to calculate the surface or interfacial tension value.

This product is suitable for fields that require measurement of liquid surface tension or interfacial tension, such as chemical, materials, daily chemicals, oil analysis, etc.

Steps
1. Choose platinum plate method or platinum ring method according to measurement needs.
2. Manually operate the lifting platform to bring the platinum plate or platinum ring into contact with the liquid to be tested.
3. The instrument automatically makes measurements and reads data on the display screen.
4. For the platinum ring method, the peak data needs to be converted by Excel or supporting software to obtain the tension value.
Notice
* The platinum plate method is suitable for rapid measurement (e.g. 3 to 5 seconds) and monitoring of tension changes over time, especially for samples containing surfactants or volatile matter.
* The platinum ring method takes a long time to measure (such as 40 to 60 seconds), and the measurement results need to be converted.
* When measuring medium and high viscosity liquid samples, platinum plate test mode is recommended for accurate equilibrating results.
* The instrument can measure interfacial tension (e.g. oil/water), but make sure that the liquids do not mix.
* For measurement at a specific temperature (5~ 90 ° C), separate Thermostat and thermostatic accessories are required.
The instrument works independently, without the need for an external computer, but provides an RS 232C serial port or an optional USB port for data transmission.
