Overview
The NIRUN RDV-T1 digital Viscometer is an innovative instrument that combines viscosity measurement with precise temperature control. It breaks through the limitations of traditional splitting equipment (consisting of thermostatic sink, Viscosity-Tester and small sample adapter) to achieve a high degree of integration of viscosity and temperature control. Sample usage is only 2-16ml.
Features
1. The measurement system composed of a small sample adapter (SSR) and SC4 rotor can perform accurate measurement at a specific shear rate, and the cylindrical geometry ensures the measurement accuracy.
2. Small sample cartridges are easy to load and unload, making them easy to clean.
3. The sample cartridge is tightly connected to the temperature controller to achieve accurate sample thermostatic.
4. Stirring the rotor with a small amount of sample can minimize the uneven temperature of the sample and significantly shorten the thermostatic time.
5. Synchronous temperature control during measurement, using semiconductor technology and built-in optimization program, temperature control accuracy of +/- 0.1 ° C to ensure accurate results.
6, temperature control through DV-T1 data collection and drawing software operation, with good operational performance and flexibility.
Principle
The Viscometer uses the swirl/spin method to measure viscosity. The instrument drives the SC4 rotor to swirl/spin in a small sample cartridge containing the sample. The viscosity value of the sample is calculated by measuring the resistance (torque) to the rotor swirl/spin in the fluid. At the same time, the integrated temperature control system precisely heats or chills down the sample cartridge through semiconductor temperature control technology, ensuring that the sample is at a set constant temperature throughout the measurement process.
Applications
Chemical, petroleum, coatings, food, pharmaceutical, scientific research
Steps
1. Install and connect the instrument and software.
2. Select the appropriate SC4 rotor according to the measurement requirements and install it.
3. Add 2-16ml of sample to a small sample cartridge.
4. Set the required measurement temperature and Rotor speed through software.
5. Start the temperature control until the sample temperature reaches the set value and stabilizes.
6. Start the viscosity measurement program and the instrument automatically collects data.
7. After the measurement is completed, the data and charts are analyzed and exported through software.
8. Remove the sample cartridge and rotor for cleaning.
Notice
• Please select the appropriate rotor model and speed according to the estimated viscosity range of the sample.
• Ensure that the sample size is within the recommended range of 2-16ml to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Be careful when loading and unloading sample cylinders and rotors.
• Wait for the temperature control system to make the sample sufficiently thermostatic before measurement.
• Regularly clean the sample cartridge and rotor to prevent cross-contamination or residue from affecting the measurement.
Please use the specified Power Adapter (AC100-240V, 50Hz/60Hz, DC17V1.2A.).
• Please refer to the corresponding instructions for software operation.
