Overview
KOSON SJY-800B mortar penetration tester is an instrument for on-site testing of masonry mortar compressire strength. It adopts penetration method, which converts the compressire strength of the mortar by measuring the depth of the nail penetration into the mortar and measuring the strength Linear dispersion. The instrument has the characteristics of simple operation, accurate detection and low cost. It is a substitute for rebound method, in-situ introduction method and other methods, and the performance reaches the professional level.
Features
1. Adopting the lever-type afterburner method, the operation is simple.
2, accurate detection results, high detection accuracy.
3, the instrument weight is light, reducing the labor intensity of the inspectors.
4. Improved on-site inspection efficiency.
5. It is a substitute for methods such as rebound method and in-situ push-out method.
Principle
Penetration testing is based on the relationship between the depth of the nail penetration into the mortar and the compressire strength of the mortar. The instrument drives the nail penetration into the mortar by loading the compression working spring, and then measures the penetration depth of the nail. Finally, the compressire strength value of the mortar is obtained by the special strength measurement Linear dispersion conversion.
Standards
Technical specification for testing compressire strength of masonry mortar by penetration method (JGJ/T136-2001)
Steps
1. Load the test nail into the test nail seat of the penetrating rod.
2. Align the flat head of the penetrator with the middle of the ash seam and stick it vertically on the surface of the mortar specimen.
3. Press the instrument smoothly, pull the trigger, and insert the test nail into the mortar.
4, the use of digital measurement ruler measurement nail penetration depth.
5. According to the measured penetration depth, the mortar compressire strength is converted by measuring the strength Linear dispersion.
Notice
Before use, check whether the components of the instrument are in good condition and whether the working spring is normal.
• During penetration operation, the instrument must be pressed vertically and smoothly against the mortar surface.
• Test nails are consumables and should be replaced in time after reaching the specified abrasion limit to ensure detection accuracy.
• When measuring penetration depth, ensure that the digital measurement ruler reading is accurate.
The test results shall be converted and evaluated according to relevant technical regulations.
• Instruments should be stored in a drying, non-corrosive gas environment.
