Overview
KOSON KS-30 split steel bar scanner is a non-breakage testing instrument using electromagnetic pulse method, mainly used for the detection of steel bar related parameters in concrete structures. It has the function of detecting the position, distribution, direction, protective layer Film thickness and diameter of steel bars, and supports data storage, viewing and transmission.
Features
1. Adopt the electromagnetic pulse method with super anti-interference ability for non-destructive testing.
2. Split design, the host and Probe are separated, and the operation is flexible.
3. Film thickness measurement with dual range protective layer, the first range 6~ 90mm, the second range 7~ 200mm.
4. The diameter of steel bars can be measured, covering the range of 6~ 50mm.
5. Built-in rechargeable battery, power supply time can reach 50 hours.
6. With data storage, viewing, and transmission capabilities.
Principle
The KOSON KS-30 split steel bar scanner uses the principle of electromagnetic induction for detection. The instrument emits electromagnetic pulse signals into the concrete. When the signal encounters the steel bar, an induced current will be generated. Probe receives this change signal and can determine the position of the steel bar, the thickness and diameter of the protective layer through analysis and processing. Film thickness and diameter.
Applications
Concrete structure engineering, construction mass acceptance of concrete structure of building houses, bridge structure, tunnel structure
Standards
"Concrete structure engineering construction mass acceptance code" GB 50204-2015, "concrete structure site detection technology standard" GBT50784-2013, "concrete reinforcement detection technology regulations" JGJ/T152-2008, "building structure detection technology standard" GB/T50344-2004, "Electromagnetic induction method for detecting steel protective layer Film thickness and steel diameter technical regulations" DB11/T365-2006, "steel protective layer Thickness measurement instrument, floor Thickness measurement instrument Measurement calibrated specification" JJF1224-2009
Steps
1. Turn it on and check the power of the device.
2. Select the appropriate range mode according to the testing requirements.
3. The Probe is smoothly attached to the surface of the concrete structure for scanning.
4. Observe the real-time data displayed on the host screen to determine the location of the steel bar.
5. Perform fixed-point measurement directly above the steel bar to obtain the protective layer Film thickness and steel bar diameter data.
6. Save the test data.
7. After the test is completed, the data can be transferred to the computer through the data interface for viewing and analysis.
Notice
* Please use it under the normal working environment requirements of the instrument: temperature -10 ℃~ + 40 ℃, relative humidity < 90% RH, no corrosive gas in the air, no strong electromagnetic interference.
* Before measurement, it should be calibrated on a calibrated test block with known protective film thickness to ensure measurement accuracy.
* When scanning, the Probe should maintain a smooth fit to the concrete surface to avoid tilting or shaking.
* When the reinforcement in the concrete is densely distributed or there are multiple layers of reinforcement, it may affect the measurement accuracy and need to be judged in combination with the actual situation.
* Avoid severe impact or prolonged exposure to extreme environments.
* Please use the matching charger to charge the battery and check the battery status regularly.
