Overview
The American Defelsko PRBN0S-D Thickness Gauge Probe is a split 0 ° Probe with a thickness measurement range of 0 to 625μm. It is designed for the measurement of small parts, hard-to-reach areas or near edges. The Probe is equipped with a quick-release adapter that aligns small, flat or curved parts with constant pressure. The adapter is designed on a spring and can be easily unplugged without a sleeve.

Principle
The Probe uses the measurement principle of magnetic Induction combined with eddy Current to accurately measure the film thickness of nonmagnetic coatings or platings through electromagnetic induction between the Probe and the substrate.

Steps
1. Connect the Probe to the host.
2. According to the measurement needs, decide whether to use the quick release adapter.
3. Align the Probe (or Probe with adapter) vertically on the surface to be tested.
4. Maintain constant pressure for measurement.
5. Read and record measurement results.
Notice
• Please make sure that the Probe is firmly connected to the host before measurement.
• Keep the Probe perpendicular to the surface to be measured during measurement.
• Adapter provides constant pressure without additional pressure for measurement.
• Probe measurement error range is +/- 3%.
• Do not use on coatings beyond the range of 0 to 625μm.
