Overview
The AMITTARI AS-128SOIL soil moisture meter is a needle measuring instrument used to detect soil moisture content. It determines the moisture of the object to be measured by measuring the conductivity between two styluses, and uses a combination of LCD digital display and LED status indicators to help users accurately judge the moisture status. The instrument has functions such as data storage, communication and automatic shutdown.

Principle
The soil moisture meter adopts needle measurement principle. The instrument inserts two stylus into the tested soil to measure the conductivity between the two. Since the soil moisture content directly affects its conductivity, the corresponding soil moisture percentage can be calculated by measuring the change of conductivity.

Steps
1. Install 4 AA batteries.
2. Press the power/menu button to turn it on.
3. Use the code selection key, add key, subtract/zero key to make necessary settings or zero.
4. Insert the Needle Sensor into the soil to be tested.
5. Press the measurement button to start measurement.
6. Read the value on the LCD display and observe the Color status of the LED indicator (green light is safe, yellow light is critical, red light is humid).
7. If you need to save the data, you can perform a storage operation.
8. Use the read key to view stored data, and the delete key to delete data.
9. After the measurement is completed, the instrument has an automatic shutdown function to save power.
Notice
* Please make sure that the Ambient Temperature is between 0-50 ℃ and the environment humidity is below 90%.
* For measurement, insert the stylus fully into the soil to obtain an accurate reading.
* Regularly check the battery level to ensure measurement accuracy.
* Please clean the stylus after use to avoid corrosion or contamination affecting the next measurement.
* Avoid long-term storage of instruments in extremely humid or drying environments.
When connecting to a PC for data transmission, use the specified RS232C cable and software.
