Principle
The SMART SENSOR AK730 Infrared Thermometer works on the principle of infrared sensing and Optical inspection. It receives the infrared radiation energy emitted by the surface of the target object (Response wavelength is 8~ 14 μm), converts it into an electrical signal, and displays the surface temperature value of the object directly on the display screen after processing.

Steps
1. Install a 9V battery.
2. Turn on the power switch.
3. According to the material of the object to be measured, set the appropriate emissivity (0.10 to 1.00) through the instrument.
4. Aim the thermometer at the target object and maintain the appropriate measurement distance (object distance ratio is 12:1).
5. Press the measurement button to measure the temperature.
6. Read the temperature value displayed on the display.
Notice
• Do not aim the laser directly at the eyes or indirectly through the reflection surface.
• Ambient Temperature, humidity and dust may affect the measurement results when measuring.
• Ensure that the surface emissivity of the measured object is set correctly to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Avoid use in strong electromagnetic interference environments.
• When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery.
• Do not place the instrument in a high temperature, high humidity or corrosive environment.
