Overview
The SMART SENSOR AS8201 Infrared Thermometer is a Portable temperature measurement device that uses non-contact infrared temperature measurement technology to quickly measure the surface temperature of objects. Its temperature measurement range covers -32 ° C to 380 ° C, suitable for temperature detection needs in a variety of industrial and daily scenarios.
Features
Wide temperature measurement range, covering temperatures from -32 ° C to 380 ° C.
High measurement accuracy, Accuracy of +/- 2%, resolution of 0.1 ℃.
3. Fast Response, Response Time is only 500ms.
4. Using non-contact measurement, the object distance ratio is 12:1, which can be operated outside the safe distance.
The preset emissivity is 0.95, suitable for most common material surfaces.
6. Portable design, weight only 130g, small size, easy to carry.
7. Powered by 2 1.5V AAA batteries for easy replacement.
Principle
The Infrared Thermometer works on the principle of infrared radiation. All objects emit infrared radiation energy, the intensity of which is related to the surface temperature of the object. The instrument collects the infrared energy emitted by the target object through the Optical inspection system (Response wavelength is 8~ 14 μm) and focuses it on the detector. The detector converts the infrared energy signal into an electrical signal, which is processed and displayed on the display screen.
Applications
Industrial equipment inspection, electrical maintenance, HVAC inspection, Food processing temperature monitoring, Automobile maintenance, Daily household temperature measurement

Steps
Load two 1.5V AAA batteries.
2. Press the power button to start the device.
3. Align the thermometer to the surface of the object to be measured.
4. Ensure that the measurement distance meets the 12:1 object distance ratio requirements.
5. Press the measurement button to measure the temperature.
6. Read the temperature value displayed on the display.
Notice
* This product is a surface temperature measurement tool and cannot be used to measure the internal temperature of the human body.
* Make sure the lens is clean during measurement to avoid dust, steam, etc. affecting the measurement accuracy.
* Please note the object distance ratio (12:1), measurement distances that are too far or too close may result in inaccurate readings.
* The emissivity is fixed at 0.95, and for special materials with large emissivity differences, there may be deviations in the measurement results.
* Avoid aiming the laser pointer directly at the human eye or indirectly irradiating the eye through the reflection surface.
When not in use for a long time, please remove the battery to prevent leakage from damaging the device.
* This instrument measurement is the temperature of a certain point on the surface of the object, and the measurement result may be affected by factors such as Ambient Temperature and airflow.
