Overview
SMART SENSOR AS8124 luminometer is a special measurement luminosity, luminance Instrument for the measurement of light intensity (illuminance). It is composed of selenium Photocells, photovoltaic cells or silicon Photocells, photovoltaic cells and microammeter, the measurement range is 1~ 200,000 Lux, with automatic gear selection function.
Features
1. Wide measurement range, up to 1~ 200,000 Lux.
2. Automatic gear selection, easy to operate.
3. The measurement unit can be switched between Lux and Fc.
4. Fast sampling rate, up to 2 times/second.
5. Response Time is short, about 1 second.
6. Portable design, dimensions of 220 * 65 * 30mm, net weight 192g.
Principle
The luminometer senses light through Photocells, photovoltaic cells (such as selenium Photocells, photovoltaic cells or silicon Photocells, photovoltaic cells), converts the light signal into an electrical signal, and then displays the corresponding illuminance value by the microammeter. Its measurement is the ratio of the luminous flux obtained on the surface of the object to the illuminated area, that is, the light intensity.
Applications
Lighting engineering, architectural lighting design, indoor environment monitoring, photography, agricultural lighting research, industrial production line lighting evaluation
Standards
The data did not mention specific compliance criteria
Steps
1. Load a 9V battery.
2. Turn on the instrument power.
3. Aim the Light Sensor at the Illuminant or Area to be Measured.
4. Read the illuminance value displayed on the display (the unit can be selected as Lux or Fc).
5. Turn off the power after use.
Notice
• Do not use in environments beyond the operation temperature range (-10~ 50 ℃).
• Avoid severe impact or contamination of the Light Sensor.
• Regularly check the battery level to ensure measurement accuracy.
• The instrument accuracy is +/- 5% reading +/- 10, please pay attention to the error range when using.
Store in a drying place to avoid moisture.
