SMART SENSOR AR932 Coating thickness gauge is a nondestructive testing instrument using magnetic Induction and eddy Current dual function measurement technology. It can automatically identify magnetic or nonmagnetic metal substrates and select the corresponding method to accurately measure the film thickness of nonmagnetic or nonconductive coatings such as paints, rubber, enamel, etc. It has basic statistical functions and data storage capabilities, and is an important tool for controlling product mass.
1. Adopt magnetic Induction + eddy Current dual function principle to automatically identify the matrix material. 2. Install the battery contact substrate to automatically turn on, and automatically shut down without operation for 30 seconds. 3. Large LCD display, easy to operate with three buttons, can be operated with one hand and has anti-skid treatment. 4. Provide convenient auto calibration function (support 0/5/100/250/500μm calibration shim) and 0-1500μm custom numerical calibration. 5. With automatic correction function to prevent calibrating misoperation, and dynamic adaptation to the environment function. 6. Probe adopts V-shaped groove design, suitable for measurement on cylindrical parts, stable structure. 7. There is an audio prompt after measurement or calibrating, and it has the function of battery power prompt. 8. With basic statistical functions (maximum/MIN Minimum) and data storage (20 sets of readings).
This instrument uses magnetic Induction and eddy Current dual function measurement principle. When measuring magnetic nonmagnetic coatings on metal substrates (such as steel, iron), the principle of magnetic Induction is used; when measuring nonconductive coatings on nonmagnetic metal substrates (such as copper, aluminum), the principle of eddy Current is used. The instrument can automatically identify the substrate type and switch the corresponding measurement method to achieve nondestructive and accurate measurement of coating thickness.

1. Install the battery, and the instrument can be automatically turned on when it touches the tested substrate. 2. The instrument automatically recognizes the substrate material and displays it. 3. According to requirements, you can choose to use the calibration shim for auto calibration or custom numerical calibration. 4. Place Probe vertically on the surface of the coating to be tested for measurement, and choose single or continuous measurement mode. 5. There is a sound prompt after the measurement, the reading will be displayed on the LCD screen, and the statistical value (maximum/minimum/average) can be stored or viewed. After 6.30 seconds of no operation, the instrument automatically shuts down.
* Correctly calibrate according to the base material and measurement range before measurement. * When measuring, ensure that the minimum surface to be measured reaches 25 * 25mm, and pay attention to the minimum radius of curvature of the part (convex 5mm, concave 30mm) and the thinnest substrate requirements (magnetic substrate 0.2mm, nonmagnetic substrate 50μm). * Probe should be kept clean and placed vertically on the measured surface during measurement. * Note Ambient Temperature is 0~ 50 ℃. When a low battery indicator appears on the display, the battery should be replaced promptly. * When calibrating, use the matching calibrating substrate and use the automatic correction function to prevent misoperation.
