Overview
The SMART SENSOR AR8600L Formaldehyde detector is a Portable Gas detection instrument, mainly used to detect formaldehyde (CH2O) gas concentration in the environment. The instrument uses Electrochemical sensor technology, which can quickly and accurately measure formaldehyde concentration in the range of 0~ 5ppm. It has sound and light alarm function and is suitable for on-site detection under various environment conditions.
Features
1. High Accuracy Detection: resolution up to 0.01ppm, intrinsic error +/- 10% to ensure measurement accuracy
2. Fast Response: Response Time T90 < 120s, Recovery Time < 120s for efficient detection
3. Multiple Alarm: Support Sound and Light Alarm mode to remind users in time
4. Portable design: weight only 175g, Dimension 181 * 63 * 30mm, easy to carry
5. Strong environmental adaptability: Operating temperature -10~ 50 ℃, Humidity 0~ 95% RH non-condensing
6. Integrated temperature measurement: built-in temperature detection function
7. Long-lasting battery life: powered by 3.7V lithium battery
Principle
The Formaldehyde detector works based on the principle of Electrochemical sensor, and detects the composition and concentration of formaldehyde gas in the environment through a gas Sensor. The Sensor converts the gas concentration signal into an electrical signal, and displays the measurement result after being processed by the instrument. When the concentration exceeds a set threshold, an acoustic and optical alarm is triggered.
Applications
Indoor air mass testing, home environment monitoring, office formaldehyde testing, industrial environment safety monitoring, public air mass assessment
Steps
1. Turn on the instrument power switch
2. Wait for the Sensor to warm up and complete the self-test
3. Place the detector in the test environment
4. Observe the display screen to read the formaldehyde concentration value
5. If the concentration exceeds the standard, pay attention to the sound and light alarm prompt
6. Turn off the power after use
Notice
• Avoid long-term use in extreme temperatures or Humidity environments
Periodically calibrated to ensure measurement accuracy
• Prevent the instrument from being violently hit or dropped
• Avoid contact with corrosive substances and liquids
• Charge in time when the battery is low
