GB/T 13477.25-2024 is Part 25 of the series of standards for testing building sealants. It specifies the method for determining the resistance to mold of sealants used in building and civil engineering, and may also be referenced for other sealing or jointing materials. The standard involves inoculating the surface of a culture medium with a spore suspension of nine common molds, followed by incubation at 26–30°C and a relative humidity of ≥90%. The resistance to mold is assessed based on the coverage area of mold colonies. The test requires equipment such as an autoclave, a constant temperature and humidity incubator, and specialized molds, along with a microscope and sterile inoculation tools. This standard provides a unified technical basis for the selection and quality control of sealing materials in humid environments.
