GB/T 22639-2022 specifies the exfoliation corrosion test methods for wrought aluminum alloy products of the 2×××, 5×××, 6×××, and 7××× series. It is applicable to the performance determination of products such as sheets, strips, tubes, bars, profiles, and forgings. The standard includes two test methods: full immersion and intermittent immersion, detailing requirements for sample preparation, reagent preparation, and environmental control. The core of the test involves the use of constant temperature devices, salt spray test chambers, and other equipment, combined with metallographic microscopes and calipers. By accelerating aging in specific corrosive solutions and observing the corrosion state at set intervals, the resistance to exfoliation corrosion is evaluated according to grading standards. This provides a unified technical basis for quality control and application selection of aluminum alloy products.
