This standard applies to building doors and windows with fire resistance integrity requirements (excluding fire doors and windows) and specifies core aspects such as classification, test equipment, procedures, and result evaluation. The classification is based on fire resistance time, divided into two levels: E30 and E60. By simulating a fire heating environment, it evaluates the ability of doors and windows to prevent flame penetration and maintain structural integrity, providing a basis for building fire safety. Relevant testing instruments include a standard fire resistance test furnace that meets requirements, an intelligent temperature control and gas supply system, paired with K-type thermocouples, heat flux meters, laser displacement sensors, and high-speed camera systems. These are complemented by gap measurement probes and standard cotton pad test frames to ensure the accuracy of test data.
