GB/T 2423.5-2019
Environmental testing - Part 2: Test methods - Test Ea and guidance: Shock

This standard is one of the series of environmental test methods, specifying the standard test procedures for determining the ability of a sample (including its packaging) to withstand impacts of specified severity. The primary purpose of this test is to expose mechanical weaknesses, performance degradation, or cumulative damage in the sample caused by impacts, thereby determining its compliance in conjunction with product specifications. The test can employ various impact waveforms, such as half-sine, terminal peak sawtooth, and trapezoidal waves. The corresponding testing instruments are primarily impact testing machines, which include horizontal impact tables and vertical impact test benches capable of generating the aforementioned standard waveforms. During the test, the sample is mounted directly or via a fixture onto the machine's table surface.
