GB/T 34986-2017
Methods for product accelerated testing

This standard provides a guiding framework for a versatile accelerated testing method widely applied to various products. It accelerates the exposure of potential design flaws or manufacturing weaknesses by subjecting products to intensified environmental stresses, such as rapid temperature changes, vibration, or humidity, within a short timeframe, thereby efficiently assessing or enhancing their reliability. The standard encompasses multiple types of accelerated tests, including Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS). Implementing these tests requires specialized environmental testing equipment, with typical detection instruments including Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS/HALT) test systems, which integrate rapid temperature cycling, multi-axis vibration, and electrical stress, as well as Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST) chambers for evaluating high-temperature and high-humidity environments.
