GB/T 3903.35-2008
Footwear - Test methods for shanks - Fatigue resistance

This standard aims to evaluate the fatigue resistance of reinforced shanks in the waist area of various types of shoes. It specifies corresponding laboratory test methods to detect whether the shank material will fracture or undergo irreversible deformation under cyclic stress by simulating repeated bending during long-term walking. This is an important indicator related to the durability and wearing safety of shoes. In testing, a specialized steel shank fatigue testing machine (or tester) is typically used to perform this test. This standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO 18895:2006 and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Footwear Standardization.
