Packaging-Basic tests for transport packages-Part 10:Sinusoidal vibration test method using at variable vibration frequency

This standard is one of the key methods in the packaging transport testing series, used to evaluate the strength of transport packages and unit loads under sinusoidal frequency sweep vibration (continuous frequency variation sinusoidal vibration) or resonance conditions, as well as the protective capability of the packaging for its contents. It can be conducted as a standalone test or as part of a series of environmental simulation tests. According to this standard, the core testing instrument is the vibration test system. The test equipment (commonly referred to as a vibration table, available in various types such as electrodynamic and electrohydraulic) must be capable of generating controlled sinusoidal vibrations within the specified frequency range. The entire test system also includes necessary sensors (e.g., accelerometers), measurement systems, and fixtures for securing the test specimens.
