Test methods for dipped canvas—Part 7 : Adhension properties after dynamic fatigue

This is a standard test method for determining the dynamic fatigue adhesion performance between dipped fabric and rubber. It is primarily used to evaluate the retention of adhesion performance between dipped fabric (such as skeleton materials for rubber products like conveyor belts) and rubber after simulated fatigue through repeated flexing. The standard specifies that a belt flexing tester must be used to conduct fatigue tests on strip-shaped samples formed by vulcanizing the two materials, followed by measuring indicators such as adhesion strength, adhesion strength retention rate, and rubber coverage after fatigue. This test is crucial for assessing the reliability of dipped fabric under dynamic usage conditions, such as the long-term operation of conveyor belts. This standard is not applicable to straight-warp and straight-weft dipped fabrics.
