To ensure material quality and safety, the standard defines testing methods for multiple key properties, such as using a capillary viscometer to determine intrinsic viscosity for evaluating molecular weight. Additionally, the standard explicitly excludes raw materials from hazardous waste sources, such as medical waste and pesticide packaging, and does not apply to mixed recycled materials containing PET and other plastics.
